eona was hooked up to the harness and took Rudolph's place. Soon, with a shout, Santa cried, "Up & Away!" And they were off to the top of Christmas Time Wall and off and out the invisible and secret, North Pole roof. Leona performed the double-dipper, super-dooper, flooper-looper, perfectly! They were right on time and off to the world, for Christmas Eve.

ell, they made all their deliveries and Leona flew and performed wonderfully. Right before they reached the very last stop at Critter Valley, Leona was suddenly surprised. Rudolph was just up ahead and his nose was glowing red and brighter than ever! Santa knew that because of Christmas Time, weeks at the North Pole getting well, was like no time at all in the rest of the world. He knew that before they reached Critter Valley, Rudolph would re-join them. So, Leona and Rudolph switched places. After they all said their fond farewells and said their goodbyes, Santa thanked Leona for saving Christmas. He and his reindeer returned to the North Pole, for some much needed rest and a holiday and Leona flew herself, back to Kringle Hill and then went home.
