Advent Calendar for 2012

   Highlights: This year we had the tri-theme of Believing, Hope and Love for the Holidays. It was a discovery of what is, faith, hope and love, and most importantly, how can a greater understanding of these if applied, enhance our enjoyment of the season and each and every day of our lives?

   For each of seven days, the focus was on believing, hope and love. Each section ended with its own animated snow globe. At the end of the first 21 days, for the first time, an animated tri-globe showed a snow globe for believing, one for hope and one for love, all snowing together. The theme itself showed a window with 25 panes of glass and each pane had a number corresponding to the numbers 1-25, for the Advent calendar. Each day in December would reveal more and more of the picture, hidden inside the window. An image of our first Advent calendar in 1998, was shared. A poem by Dahni called, 'Remember,' appeared exactly as it first did online, in 1997. This poem about memories, served as inspiration to Dahni. The following year (1998), our first online Advent calendar went live.

   Original artwork, photography and music by Dahni, dot the interior landscape of this year's calendar. We were invited to participate in the ninth Holiday Card Collection with our friends at AdHub.com, and contributed a flash animated card called: 'Santa's List.'

   After 15 years, it has been announced that this would be our last and final year, in making and sharing these online Advent calendars. We thank you, for your participation this year and, for any year in which you did and for all the years that we have been offering these, FREE to all and for all, online
