hen Leona opened her eyes this time, she was not falling, she was flying! She was far enough behind Santa's sleigh that he did not see her. Leona was so happy she could really fly that she forgot one very important thing - Christmas Time.

Leona began to fly and right behind Santa's sleigh!

t the North Pole and on Christmas Eve, one second in the rest of the world is a whole year at the North Pole and a whole year at the North Pole is only like a blink of an eye in the world. That's what Christmas Time is. Before Leona knew it, she was at the North Pole and the sleigh landed. Leona was a little worried, because she did not know how to get home and that maybe Santa would be mad at her?

"o, o, o, well Merry Christmas," said Santa smiling, "Where did you come from my little lamb? How did you get here?" Lil' Leona Lovie told Santa her name and the whole story and how she could fly. Santa asked Leona if she knew Jack and Miles the Christmas Ferrets? "Oh, yes sir and they told me about their whole adventure," Leona politely said.

"ell my dear Leona, then I'm sure they explained to you about Christmas Time. I will take you home next Christmas Eve and to your family, it will be as though you never left at all, but you will have a wonderful time while you are here! And if you would like to help us, I'm sure we can find many fun things for you to do."

o, Leona spent the whole year of Christmas Time at the North Pole, having fun and helping Santa prepare for the next Christmas Eve. It all started by getting to know each of the reindeer, playing in their games and even flying their deer drills. That's what they call, reindeer flight practice.

Leona met each of Santa's flying reindeer, played and practiced flying with them

rs. Claus made Leona her very own hat, just like Santa's. Leona helped Santa check his "naughty and nice list and to make sure each child had written a letter to him, about what they wanted for Christmas.

Lil' Leona Lovie in her new hat, was very glad to help Santa
